Material Planner – Aftermarket

Responsibilities

• Perform demand planning and forecasting based on customer requirements, sales trends, and market demand.
• Ensure material availability remains above 95% to achieve company service levels and inventory KPIs.
• Create and issue purchase orders to suppliers and follow up to ensure timely delivery.
• Monitor inventory levels to maintain optimum stock availability while minimizing excess inventory.
• Coordinate with Sales, Warehouse, Product Management, and Logistics teams to support aftermarket operations.
• Track shipment schedules, pending orders, and backorders to proactively avoid shortages.
• Manage inbound overseas shipments, including coordination of Air Freight, FCL, and LCL modes.
• Monitor international shipments from China, Vietnam, and Europe, ensuring smooth movement and customs clearance.
• Maintain accurate data within ERP/MRP systems and prepare reports on forecast accuracy and supplier performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in material planning, demand planning, or aftermarket supply chain operations.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge and strong analytical skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and coordination abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of international logistics and inbound supply chain operations.
• Hands-on experience handling Air Freight, Full Container Load (FCL), and Less than Container Load (LCL) shipments.
• Experience managing overseas shipments specifically from China, Vietnam, and Europe.
• Familiarity with shipping documentation, Incoterms, and customs coordination.
