Material Operations Biotechnician

Responsibilities

• Perform, monitor, and troubleshoot cell culture, purification, or support operations within Manufacturing.
• Monitor and report process performance using statistical process control.
• Support Commissioning and Qualification activities and participate in the execution of validation protocols.
• Prepare, update, and execute Batch Records, SOPs, and other GMP documentation.
• Troubleshoot process-specific equipment, including DCS (Delta V) and PLC control systems.
• Author, investigate, and resolve quality deviations within the Manufacturing Department.
• Demonstrate an active approach to safety, industrial hygiene, environmental, and regulatory compliance.
• Utilize Right First Time (six-sigma) and lean manufacturing practices to drive operational excellence.
• Work flexible shift patterns to meet business needs and manufacturing schedules.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology, Chemical or Biochemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Bio-systems Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proficiency in operating functional area equipment.
• Experience with DCS (Delta V) and PLC control systems.
• Strong knowledge of cGMP and EHS requirements.
• Ability to work flexible shift patterns.
