Material Officer

Responsibilities

• Manage the secure handling, receiving, and storage of materials and spare parts in a warehouse environment
• Pick and deliver items for preventative and corrective maintenance activities
• Operate relevant machinery and materials handling equipment safely
• Perform routine cycle counts of inventory and complete associated paperwork
• Safely load and unload trucks of various configurations and sizes
• Maintain a clean and safe workplace in accordance with site safety systems and policies
• Follow the principles of Chain of Responsibility and adhere to all compliance procedures

Requirements

• Proficiency with MS Office Suite
• Current Australian Driver Licence (Car)
• Current Forklift Licence (LF)
• Pro-active, goal-oriented mindset with excellent attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehousing environment
• HR Driver Licence
• Awareness of dangerous goods handling procedures
