Material Logistics Agent

Responsibilities

• Define and execute lean, reliable material flows from dock to point of use in collaboration with Logistics-Supply functions
• Implement inventory management strategies as part of a comprehensive working capital improvement plan
• Build shopload plans for non-cadencé production sections
• Develop solutions to align supply and demand to meet inventory management goals
• Define and document handling equipment requirements and production kits
• Interact with multi-disciplinary teams including Methods, Plant Engineering, Industrial Engineering, and Quality
• Participate in continuous improvement projects such as 5S, lean manufacturing, and cost reduction initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Operations & Logistics Management, or a College Diploma with equivalent experience
• 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in logistics or production planning
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project)
• Strong interest in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the automotive or aerospace industry
• Proficiency in both English and French (written and spoken)
• Hands-on experience with SAP
