Material Handling/Lift Truck Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and perform complex repairs in the shop or field
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment as scheduled
• Complete work orders in a timely manner
• Maintain open communication with the service manager

Requirements

• 2-3 years of heavy equipment troubleshooting and repair experience
• Technical Certifications or Associate’s Degree
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical theories
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Computer literacy for email and work orders
• Ability to work with limited supervision and independent judgment
• Must furnish tools suitable for heavy equipment repair
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and maneuver around/under equipment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Curtis Controllers
• Experience with Narrow Aisle, Class 1 thru 5, or Warehouse Products
• Experience with Cold Storage or Pneumatic/Cushion Tired Trucks
• Experience with Electric Stand-Up Riders, Sit-Down Trucks, or Order Pickers
• Experience with Reach Trucks, Stackers, or Pallet Trucks
