Material Handling/Lift Truck Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and perform complex repairs in the shop or field
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment as scheduled
• Complete work orders in a timely manner
• Maintain open communication with the service manager

Requirements

• 2-3 years minimum of shop or field heavy equipment troubleshooting and repair
• Technical Certifications or Associate’s Degree
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical theories and principles
• Good written and verbal communication skills for daily reporting
• Computer literacy for email and work orders
• Ability to work with limited supervision and independent judgment
• Must furnish tools suitable for heavy equipment repair
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Ability to lift and handle heavy loads up to 55lbs

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Curtis Controllers
• Experience with Narrow Aisle equipment
• Experience with Class 1 thru 5 warehouse products
• Experience with Cold Storage, Order Pickers, Reach Trucks, or Stackers
