Material Handling Lead V

Responsibilities

• Lead material handling operations including timely and accurate put away, picking, and issuing of material
• Manage inventory through cycle counts and ensure compliance with FIFO, serialized, or lot/batch management
• Transact material movements accurately using EPICOR, MRP, or WMS systems
• Unload incoming freight, verify conditions against packing lists, and validate customs documentation
• Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
• Maintain 5S standards to ensure cleanliness, safety, and efficiency in assigned work areas
• Coach and train team members to improve operational effectiveness and productivity
• Communicate effectively with receiving, shipping, quality inspectors, and inventory analysts

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED)
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant material handling or warehouse experience
• Strong attention to detail for maintaining inventory accuracy
• Excellent organizational and troubleshooting skills regarding logistical issues

Preferred Qualifications

• 4+ years of logistics experience
• 3+ years of supervisory or leadership experience
