Material Handler/Delivery Driver

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and process incoming materials and shipments
• Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing orders for shipment
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely
• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stock counts
• Organize and maintain a clean, safe warehouse environment
• Drive the Emco truck in compliance with company policy and traffic laws
• Complete pre-trip inspections and maintain driver's logs
• Secure loads properly to prevent damage or shifting during transport
• Pick customer orders and load the truck for curbside delivery

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of warehouse or material handling experience
• Proficiency in operating forklifts and material handling equipment
• Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Basic math and proficient computer skills for inventory systems
• Valid driver's license
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with warehouse management software
• Knowledge of inventory control best practices
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles
• Forklift operation certification
