Material Handler

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming materials for damage and ensure all appropriate paperwork is present
• Operate ESM Bar Code Scanners and perform related inventory activities
• Complete necessary documentation in Ariba, Computron, and MRP II systems
• Deliver ordered materials to production areas or other on-site buildings
• Prepare materials for shipment and manage inter-office mail delivery
• Monitor, organize, and retain import documentation to ensure compliance with FDA regulations
• Unload trucks, verify vendor batch numbers, and check receipts against purchase orders
• Troubleshoot vendor discrepancies and coordinate with buyers to resolve issues
• Maintain required Standard Operating Procedures for shipping, receiving, and compliance

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Email
• Strong mathematical skills
• Ability to lift and carry between 5 to 50 lbs frequently
• Ability to obtain dangerous goods certification
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach for long periods in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior work experience in a warehousing or material handling environment
• Experience operating a forklift
