About the role
Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport chemical materials using forklifts, manual and electric pallet jacks, and hand trucks
- Perform cycle counts and inventory checks to maintain accurate records
- Follow all hazardous material (Hazmat) handling procedures and documented company protocols
- Adhere to all EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) and DOT regulations
- Work within an industrial chemical environment involving regulated storage spaces and varying temperatures
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs to chest height
- Experience with forklift operation and manual/electric pallet jacks
- Proficiency with Oracle and SAP inventory systems
- Knowledge of Hazmat handling procedures
- Ability to stand, walk, or move around a work location for extended periods (up to 6 hours)
- Must be comfortable wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including safety toe shoes, eye protection, and gloves
