Material Handler

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming merchandise and verify the accuracy of shipments
• Maintain accurate records, computer data entry, and physical inventories
• Deliver stock, supplies, and packages to appropriate workstations and employees
• Rotate inventory and move boxes to and from shelves
• Unload pallets and load/unload trucks as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation and facility
• Comply with all safety, security, and internal audit procedures

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and 70 lbs on occasion
• Computer literacy and strong keyboard skills
• Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and walk for 8-10 hours per day
• Valid driver's license (as may be required for delivery truck operation)
• Must be able to learn quickly through on-the-job training

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous forklift experience
• Ability to become certified on Forklift and Stock-picker operations
