Material Handler

Responsibilities

• Safely transport and position raw materials, turbine components, assemblies, tools, supplies, and scrap using forklifts, walkie trucks, overhead cranes, and A-frames
• Support production operations by loading/unloading workpieces and delivering materials to designated locations
• Verify material identification and maintain accurate records of material movement for inventory control
• Manage scrap handling processes including weighing, segregating, and transporting materials
• Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance such as monitoring coolant and oil levels
• Promote a safe working environment by following safety procedures and using required PPE

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing, warehouse, logistics, or material handling
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to PPE requirements
• Basic mechanical aptitude with ability to operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and pumps
• Strong attention to detail for material identification and inventory recording
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
