Material Handler

Responsibilities

• Perform physical and administrative tasks related to shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing materials, parts, and equipment
• Unpack and verify received goods against purchase orders or invoices and maintain accurate records
• Reject unsatisfactory items and manage inventory documentation
• Prepare and maintain records of merchandise shipped, including posting weights and shipping charges
• Examine, stock, and distribute materials to inventory locations and manufacturing lines
• Prepare kitting packages for assembly production as needed
• Interact daily with peers and internal customers to exchange factual information

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift heavy items
• Capability to operate a forklift

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 6 months of related experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
• Flexible schedule availability
