Material Handler, Pouch

Responsibilities

• Supply materials to the Pouching line and procure production supplies as indicated on the Bill of Material (BOM).
• Operate and perform minor maintenance on line machinery, including pouch sealers, trucks, and belts.
• Transport filled and assembled bags using a powered industrial truck from the truck loader to sterilization.
• Visually inspect bags for defects and perform scheduled quality checks using gauges and scales.
• Document required information on manufacturing logs and the POMS system.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area using 6S principles and follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Basic English communication skills (written and oral).
• Basic mathematics and basic computer skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including grasping, pushing, pulling, reaching, squatting, and bending.

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of manufacturing experience.
• Career Readiness Certification (CRC) at the Silver level.
• Ability to obtain Worksaver Operator and Inspector Certifications.
