Material Handler

Responsibilities

• Execute inventory location assignments and job order deliveries using forklifts to transport materials safely
• Conduct receiving inspections to verify goods before directing them to appropriate storage areas
• Identify safety challenges, recognize potential hazards, and recommend corrective actions
• Adhere to all company safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and organize stock levels effectively

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience with forklift and pallet jack operation
• Strong mathematical accuracy for inventory counting and tracking
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage time efficiently to meet workflow deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in shipping and receiving environments
• Existing certification in forklift operation or other motorized equipment
• Strong attention to detail regarding labeling and damaged goods
