Material Handler - Packing

Responsibilities

• Pack metal products according to standardized processes for box quantity and fan fold size
• Protect all exposed surfaces during packing to ensure safe delivery to customers
• Verify part numbers, quantities, quality, finish, and correct length of metal
• Assist with general housekeeping in the Packing department

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work at a fast pace
• Basic computer skills for data entry
• Self-motivated, safety-focused, and team-oriented mindset
• Willingness to wear required PPE including gloves, safety glasses, ear plugs, hard hat, cut-resistant sleeves, and steel-toe boots with met guard
• Ability to maintain production and quality standards with minimal supervision
• Effective teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations and complete packing reports
