Material Handler, Packing

Responsibilities

• Transport sterilized bags using a powered industrial truck from the cooling area to the packing line
• Operate and maintain automated packaging equipment and ensure the carton erector is continuously supplied
• Visually inspect each bag for defects, ensure proper orientation, and log any identified defects
• Manually unload trucks and package bags when necessary
• Assist in performing line clearance and maintain a clean, safe work area using 6S principles
• Follow rigorous quality standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 18 years of age
• Ability to obtain PIT Operator Certification and Inspector Certification
• Basic English communication skills (written and oral)
• Basic mathematics and basic computer skills
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand, walk, or climb for the duration of a shift
• Ability to distinguish color for quality inspection purposes

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of manufacturing experience
