Material Handler

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks and deliver finished products to offsite warehouses in compliance with DOT regulations
• Transport and pick up goods to and from required locations safely
• Complete truck, trailer, and forklift inspection reports and maintain current registrations
• Support the counting, verifying, rotating, and putting away of raw materials using FEFO best practices
• Ensure proper segregation of organic and allergen-containing materials
• Supply production lines with raw materials as required
• Maintain a clean, orderly work environment and comply with all GMP, safety, and sanitation standards
• Inspect shipments for damage, record lot numbers, and report any issues with equipment or materials

Requirements

• Valid Class A driver's license
• Forklift Certification
• Food Handler Certificate
• Ability to lift 50 to 100 lbs
• Computer literacy and knowledge of RF Scanners
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and potentially hot, cold, or humid conditions
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays if needed
• Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, and writing)
