Material Handler

Responsibilities

• Operate PIV tuggers and pick carts to supply manufacturing operations
• Accurately fill kit carts by following pick lists and using DSI scanners
• Complete all put away and restocking tasks within 24 hours of product receipt
• Identify material shortages or low stock items and report them to the supervisor
• Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory documentation
• Execute 5’s assignments and maintain warehouse housekeeping standards
• Participate in daily toolbox meetings and shop floor management elements

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Basic reading, writing, and math abilities
• Knowledge of computer applications and product documentation
• Understanding of Kanban systems and material handling practices
• 1 year of warehouse experience in a pick/pack operation
• 1 year of experience with warehouse management systems such as DSI or JDE

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with PIV operation
• Experience in shipping and receiving environments
