About the role

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and operate equipment and facilities, including blending, mixing, and automated packaging systems
  • Maintain safety standards and follow emergency procedures as necessary
  • Perform basic maintenance, repair, and upkeep on area equipment
  • Adjust control settings on equipment units to affect packaging and blending speeds
  • Monitor recording instruments, flowmeters, and panel lights to verify process conditions
  • Record operating data, including process conditions, test results, and instrument readings
  • Draw product samples to ensure quality conformance
  • Execute material movements using an industrial powered truck
  • Interpret packaging material quality according to customer specifications

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts, including overtime, weekends, holidays, and short-notice call-ins
  • Ability to lift up to 55 pounds and perform physical tasks such as climbing stairs, standing, walking, stooping, and kneeling
  • Ability to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including eyewear and acid suits
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3 years of industrial experience
  • Prior material handling or warehouse experience
