Material Handler

Responsibilities

• Keep production machines stocked with product and appropriate parts
• Assist manufacturing associates in obtaining components
• Move finished parts to final inspection, shipping, or scanning
• Stock shelves with components and rotate stock
• Use forklift to load and unload trucks, including bar stock and pallets
• Manage incoming material and deliver received goods to appropriate departments
• Support continuous improvement within the Production Department
• Perform regular rounds to replenish material at machines

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• 6 months to 1 year of shipping experience
• Proficiency with fork truck, pallet jack, and Big Joe (Stock Picker)
• Basic math skills and attention to detail
• Effective communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of SAP (System Analysis Program Development)
• Knowledge of Leading 2 Lean (L2L)
• Forklift certification
