Material Handler

Responsibilities

• Listen and follow the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor
• Assist with the physical organization of inventory
• Return inventory items to the proper locations
• Assist materials handlers with picking items required for production
• Ensure department cleanliness, orderliness, and safety
• Ensure accurate recording of data

Requirements

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos
• Basic math and writing skills
• Basic computer skills or willingness to learn
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to stand for 8-10 hours a day
• Ability to work in varied temperatures (heat, humidity, etc.)
• Ability to lift, carry, twist, walk, reach, and bend frequently
