Material Handler

Responsibilities

• On/off-loading of the product from tables, rolling racks, delivery trucks, or wood crates
• Read work orders and follow job standards for safety, quality and production
• Attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages
• Read and interpret basic mathematical measurements while effectively using a tape measure
• Move material including glass and/or metal to expedite product throughout the plant

Requirements

• Prior work experience in a production/manufacturing environment
• Ability to lift up to 75lbs unassisted
• Ability to stand and move on feet for 8-10 hours per day on a concrete floor
• Ability to work independently and prioritize work with deadlines
• Ability to work overtime when required
• Ability to withstand moderate to high noise levels
• Ability to work in regional climate conditions (heat, cold, humidity)
