Material Handler

Responsibilities

• Move materials using vacuum lift assist equipment
• Manually lift and move mobile carts to facilitate production
• Perform tasks safely and adhere to all safety policies and procedures
• Apply inspection procedures and tolerances to pass or reject materials
• Perform preventative maintenance activities such as cleaning and inspecting equipment
• Maintain clean and organized work areas
• Comply with all written policies, work rules, and instructions

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Basic computer input and interface skills
• Ability to read and use a tape measure
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
• Ability to stand and walk on a concrete floor for 8-12 hours per day
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment without temperature or humidity control
• Availability for a 5-day workweek with occasional Saturdays

Preferred Qualifications

• Stable work history with previous manufacturing or fabrication experience
• Mechanical aptitude
