Material Handler

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, sort, and stage glass using overhead crane and/or manual handling methods
• Read and verify glass tags and specifications to ensure correct material selection and machine setup
• Inspect finished products for size, thickness, and quality
• Follow all safety procedures, including proper handling and disposal of broken glass
• Maintain equipment in safe working condition and uphold housekeeping standards
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to support production goals

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail with ability to follow specifications
• Commitment to safety in a physically demanding environment
• Ability to lift, move, and handle materials from 50-75lbs throughout the shift
• Positive attitude with strong communication and teamwork skills
• Experience with overhead cranes is considered an asset
