Material Handler

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading glass using crane and/or manual lifting
• Reading tags for glass selection and reviewing specifications for machine adjustments
• Sorting and loading glass onto equipment while maintaining safety policies
• Responsible for proper disposal of broken glass and general housekeeping
• Inspecting finished product for dimensions, quality finish, and thickness
• Ensuring equipment is in safe operating condition
• Communicating positively with team leads, co-workers, and supervisors

Requirements

• Ability to lift 75 lbs. consistently throughout shift
• Reliable transportation to Gloucester Industrial Park
• Basic understanding of English
• Ability to multitask and respond to changing priorities
• Mechanically inclined (asset)
• Experience in metal, granite, stone, or glass fabrication (preferred)
• Crane certification (preferred)
