Material Handler

Responsibilities

• Follow all OSHA and site safety protocols without exception
• Operate a forklift to receive, stage, and move aluminum plate, bar, and rounds
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
• Receive inbound material and verify against purchase orders
• Package, label, and stage outbound shipments
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free floor
• Record material movements accurately in digital software systems
• Learn baseline operations of the bandsaw and other metals equipment

Requirements

• Safety-obsessed mindset with a commitment to wearing PPE and following protocols
• Forklift operation experience or a strong willingness to learn and get certified
• High attention to detail regarding loads, labels, and shipments
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/operate equipment for a full shift
• Comfortable using digital software to track inventory
• Reliable, coachable, and a strong team player

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial environment
• Existing forklift and/or overhead crane certification
• Experience with bandsaws, industrial saws, or metals handling
• Comfort using AI tools to improve workflow efficiency
