Material Handler

Responsibilities

• Read work orders and follow instructions to identify materials for movement or processing
• Load and unload materials onto pallets, racks, shelves, and vehicles
• Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy, damage, and compliance
• Pick, pack, and prepare finished goods for shipment, including labeling and wrapping
• Operate industrial trucks or hoists to move materials safely and efficiently
• Maintain accurate records through SAP and other tracking systems
• Perform cycle counting and inventory control activities
• Ensure proper storage conditions, including temperature control where required
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety and sanitation standards
• Follow all regulatory and certification requirements, including Kosher and Halal guidelines

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least six months of experience in material handling, warehouse, or similar operations
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Experience operating industrial trucks, forklifts, or hoisting equipment
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with email and data entry systems
• Knowledge of GMP, safety protocols, sanitation practices, and DOT hazardous materials requirements
• Basic math skills, including unit conversions

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a regulated environment
• Familiarity with SAP or other ERP/Warehouse Management Systems
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
