About the role
Responsibilities
- Pick, package, and ship customer orders
- Count, verify, receive, and put away incoming vendor material and customer returns
- Load and unload trucks and operate forklift or other material handling equipment
- Verify material against packing slips and note discrepancies or damage
- Enter received material into the computer system
- Complete documentation for third-party carriers and Transportation of Dangerous Goods
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety
- Assist teammates in servicing customers at the counter
Requirements
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience
- Ability to safely operate a forklift and material handling equipment
- High level of attention to detail
- Intermediate math skills
- Strong customer service and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Waterworks and building products
- Experience with M3, Vizzn, Word, Excel, and Outlook
