Material Handler

Responsibilities

• Supply internal and external customers with machines and secure packaging for on-time shipments
• Pull machines, scan items using barcode guns, label products, and load shipments
• Transfer finished products to storage or shipping areas and unload containers or trucks
• Maintain accurate inventory levels and process associated shipment documentation
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to fulfill warehouse requests

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English
• Proficiency with computers and MS Office applications
• Ability to use barcode gun scanners and transfer data in an ERP system
• Physical ability to lift, push, or pull up to 100 pounds and stand for long periods
• Ability to obtain HAZMAT certification
• Strong math skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior forklift experience and ability to pass Nilfisk re-certification
