Material Handler

Responsibilities

• Move freight, stock, and materials to and from storage, production areas, or delivery vehicles using forklifts or other industrial vehicles
• Read and attach identifying tags to containers, materials, or product packaging
• Conduct regular inspections of manufactured goods to ensure quality standards are met and report defects
• Use computer systems to update, track, and record inventory, materials, or finished goods
• Maintain a safe and accident-free environment by adhering to safety standards and reporting issues
• Clean and maintain work areas, equipment, tools, and machinery
• Assist with the assembly and packaging of manufactured goods when required

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Legal authorization to work in the United States
• Ability to lift up to 40lbs
• Strong team player with effective communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience operating a forklift
• Basic computer skills
• Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment
