Material Handler

Responsibilities

• Transport incoming and outgoing materials to designated areas
• Operate forklifts, electrical hoists, or other power-driven equipment to load and move materials
• Supply production areas with necessary inventory, including raw materials and Work-In-Process (WIP)
• Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, totes, trays, or shelves
• Utilize ERP systems to locate inventory and complete reporting transactions
• Perform daily safety checklists for all material handling equipment used
• Cross-train and provide backup support to co-workers as required

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• 1 year of previous material handling or warehouse experience
• Ability to operate a forklift, electrical hoist, or other power-driven equipment
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to assist team members
