Material Handler Leader

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and fulfill material orders and requisitions according to procedures
• Perform material purges and follow FIFO and FEFO protocols
• Assign locations for surplus materials and factory returns, ensuring ERP capture
• Report material discrepancies and coordinate urgent materials
• Scan boxes and coordinate exact material counts
• Deliver work orders to production lines and monitor personnel hours
• Self-train on applicable procedures and train picking associates
• Foster teamwork, quality, and safety
• Document picking area performance indicators and support warehouse areas
• Coordinate and implement continuous improvement programs to reduce costs
• Participate in physical inventories and internal/external audits

Requirements

• Technical or professional degree in Business Administration, Foreign Trade, or Industrial Engineering preferred
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Payroll systems, and ERP systems (preferably JDE)
• Ability to create graphs and executive reports
• At least 1 year of experience in Shipping/Receiving areas
• Problem-solving capabilities
• Personnel management skills
