Material Handler

Responsibilities

• Move raw materials and finished goods to and from production areas
• Complete system transactions for every physical movement in a timely and accurate manner
• Replenish pick locations as needed and pick product for customer orders
• Load and unload trucks
• Operate forklifts and semi-automatic pallet wrappers within safety standards
• Report forklift maintenance issues and complete daily inspection sheets
• Audit inventory discrepancies using transaction history and assist with cycle counts
• Support all production teams within the plant as needed

Requirements

• Ability to quickly learn and safely operate powered industrial trucks
• 6 months of forklift operation experience preferred
• Self-motivated team player with strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift, push, and pull a minimum of 35-50 pounds occasionally
• Ability to stand, bend, stretch, kneel, squat, climb, and twist during entire shifts
• Ability to work in a variety of temperature and humidity conditions
