Material Handler

Responsibilities

• Move raw materials and finished goods to and from production areas
• Complete system transactions for every physical movement accurately and in a timely manner
• Replenish pick locations as needed to support production
• Load and unload trucks
• Operate forklifts following all safety standards
• Perform daily forklift inspections and report maintenance issues or error codes
• Audit inventory discrepancies using transaction history
• Participate in inventory cycle counts and reconciliation processes
• Support all production teams within the plant as required
• Pick product for customer orders with high accuracy and efficiency
• Use PeopleSoft to process orders and transactions
• Operate semi-automatic pallet wrappers as needed

Requirements

• Ability to quickly learn and safely operate powered industrial trucks
• 6 months of forklift operation experience is preferred but not required
• Self-motivated team player with strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift, push, and pull a minimum of 35-50 pounds occasionally
• Ability to stand, bend, stretch, kneel, squat, climb, and twist during an entire shift
• Ability to work in various temperature and humidity conditions
