Material Handler

Responsibilities

• Perform receipt, storage, inventory, care, location, issue, movement, and loading of equipment, supplies, and publications
• Utilize automated hardware and software systems to manage warehouse tasks
• Develop storage space requirements based on material weight, cube, and clearance
• Operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) including forklifts, tractors, and conveyor systems
• Execute manual tasks and collateral clerical duties as directed to support the Marine Corps Prepositioning Program

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• 4 years of related experience in material handling or warehousing
• Completion of Enlisted Warehouseman Basic Course at MCSSS or equivalent
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Capability to operate MHE and bulk/small parts conveyor systems
• Valid State Motor Vehicle Operator License
• Valid passport
• U.S. Citizenship
• Ability to travel up to 70% of the time
• Ability to be deployable within 72 hours
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC) and Base Access
