Material Handler

Responsibilities

• Perform receipt, storage, inventory, care, location, issue, movement, and loading of equipment, supplies, and publications
• Utilize automated hardware and software systems to manage warehouse tasks
• Operate material handling equipment (MHE) including forklifts, tractors, and conveyor systems
• Develop storage space requirements based on material weight, cube, and clearance
• Execute collateral clerical duties and other manual tasks as directed
• Comply with all established safety, quality, and time schedule standards

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Four years of related experience
• Completion of Enlisted Warehouseman Basic Course at MCSSS or equivalent
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Capability to operate MHE (forklifts, tractors, etc.)
• Valid State Motor Vehicle Operator License
• U.S. Citizenship
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC) and Base Access
