Material Handler III

Responsibilities

• Manage the movement, storage, and verification of materials in accordance with company policies
• Handle various shipping methods including UPS, FedEx, and ground carriers, including scheduling and documentation
• Perform receiving duties such as unloading delivery vehicles, verifying contents, and ensuring proper storage
• Execute cycle counting processes and manage interplant transfers and material shortage reporting
• Maintain warehouse organization using 5S principles, including cleaning and maintaining carts and racking
• Perform clerical duties and recordkeeping using MS Office and BAAN systems
• Support production requirements through accurate picking and line-side storage delivery

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Proficiency and experience using a computer on a daily basis
• Effective written and oral communication skills
• Strong mathematical skills and recordkeeping abilities
• Ability to obtain an E-ONE-issued forklift license
• Ability to maintain Hazardous Waste Generator Certification and HazMat DOT Certification
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform tasks involving standing, walking, kneeling, and bending for long periods
