Material Handler II

Responsibilities

• Distribute production and non-production materials, including parts, WIP, and finished products, throughout the plant
• Maintain inventory accuracy and ensure all materials are properly identified and stored
• Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, rolling carts, or forklifts
• Maintain required documentation for all parts and materials moved in accordance with procedures
• Set work priorities to meet production goals and maintain a safe, neat work area
• Assist with the training and instruction of new employees assigned to the area

Requirements

• Three (3) years of experience in a warehouse environment
• Valid Ohio Driver’s License
• Proficient in computer use for data entry, part scanning, and schedule review
• Ability to read metric tape measures and use measuring devices
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 lbs without assistance
• Ability to perform mathematical computations required for job performance

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience operating a forklift
