Material Handler II

Responsibilities

• Accurately and safely load and unload materials from vehicles, pallets, racks, and shelves.
• Receive incoming shipments, unpack items, examine for damage, and record shortages.
• Use forklifts and other industrial trucks to convey materials from storage to designated areas.
• Order materials from the warehouse via the ERP system to support production lines.
• Prepare outbound goods for transit using crating, strapping, bracing, or banding tools.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by assisting with cycle counts and attaching identifying tags or labels.
• Ensure an adequate supply of shipping and receiving materials is always on hand.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of Forklift experience.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, twisting, or kneeling.
• Ability to repetitiously push and pull cases weighing between 200lbs and 800lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience pulling orders in a warehouse environment.
