Material Handler II

Responsibilities

• Accurately and safely load and unload materials to maintain organizational flow
• Manage consignment inventory, location-to-location moves, and inventory adjustments
• Operate hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors, and other handling equipment
• Assist in the cycle counting process and maintain ongoing inventory accuracy
• Collaborate with Inventory Control and Distribution teams to resolve quality or shipping issues
• Transfer, transport, and stage materials in a timely manner while maintaining documentation
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the distribution department

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of forklift experience
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, twisting, or reaching in tight spaces
• Ability to repetitiously push and pull cases weighing between 200lbs and 800lbs
• Ability to stand, walk, and use hands to handle objects or controls for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience pulling orders in a warehouse environment
