Material Handler II

Responsibilities

• Perform general warehouse functions including shipping, receiving, and material movement
• Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, slip sheets, yard trucks, and box trucks
• Drive company trucks between plant buildings and warehouses
• Load and unload products and trailers
• Prepare products for manual or automated processing
• Maintain accurate accounts of warehouse stock using SAP/Apriso
• Identify and eliminate safety hazards in coordination with management
• Follow precise written procedures and safety/quality policies
• Provide training for new associates

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to obtain forklift certification within 3 months
• Ability to operate yard trucks and box trucks within 3 months
• Basic computer skills (SAP, Excel, Word preferred)
• Ability to speak, read, and write English
• Ability to exert 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally

Preferred Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience
• CDL license
