Material Handler II

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and transfer materials between various manufacturing areas.
• Prepare manufacturing and packaging materials at the start of the shift.
• Generate labels (QCF-50 or electronic POMs) and prepare move tickets for material movement.
• Perform daily inventory, shipments, and material write-offs using the PRMS system.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace following SOL 6S standards.
• Inspect, load, and seal wagons for final product shipment and document accordingly.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance on forklifts, such as checking battery water levels and brakes.
• Report any defective equipment, safety hazards, or environmental risks through the EHS management system.
• Support other areas as required by the Supervisor or Assistant.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in material packaging or related positions.
• Valid driver's license.
• Forklift license and Narrow Aisle forklift certification.
• Basic computer and mathematics skills.
• Ability to work at heights of up to 40 feet.
• Fluency in both English and Spanish.
• Ability to lift and move objects weighing between 20 lbs. and 50 lbs. frequently.
