Material Handler I

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory accuracy and ensure all materials remain properly identified and stored.
• Move parts, work-in-progress (WIP), or finished products throughout the facility.
• Operate material handling equipment including pallet jacks, rolling carts, or forklifts.
• Maintain required documentation for all parts and materials moved according to specified procedures.
• Deliver mail packages to various department or warehouse locations.
• Ensure work areas are maintained in a safe, neat, and organized manner.

Requirements

• Ability to lift and move up to 40 lbs. regularly without assistance.
• Proficiency in computer use for data entry, part scanning, and printing picklists.
• Ability to read, write, and perform mathematical computations.
• Ability to work in non-temperature-controlled environments.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including bending, stooping, squatting, and climbing ladders.
• Successful completion of drug and background screening.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Previous experience operating a forklift.
• High school diploma or GED.
