Material Handler I

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory accuracy and ensure all materials are properly identified and stored
• Move parts, work-in-progress (WIP), or finished products using equipment such as pallet jacks, rolling carts, or forklifts
• Maintain required documentation for all parts and materials moved in accordance with specified procedures
• Deliver mail packages to various department or warehouse locations
• Ensure work areas are maintained in a safe, neat, and organized manner
• Drive in various road conditions, including small roadways and highways

Requirements

• Ability to lift and move up to 40 lbs. regularly without assistance
• Valid Driver’s License
• Computer proficiency for data entry, part scanning, and printing picklists
• Ability to read, write, and perform mathematical computations
• Ability to work in non-temperature-controlled environments and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and climbing
• Successful completion of drug and background screening

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in manufacturing, inventory, or related functions
• High school diploma or GED
