Material Handler I

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the movement of products throughout the facility to ensure consistent material flow
• Maintain accurate real-time computer inventory records and resolve discrepancies
• Pick raw materials and packaging and put away finished goods using scanners and forklifts
• Follow all workplace safety policies, GMP, and SQF procedures
• Organize and maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Support the production department and handle emergency material requests
• Load and unload docks and act as a back-up forklift driver for Shipping and Receiving

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• 1+ years of experience operating a forklift
• Forklift Safety & Operation Certification
• Ability to move and lift up to 50 lbs
