Material Handler I

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials between docks and trucks using hand trucks
• Process delivered materials, prioritizing temperature-sensitive receipts
• Prepare work-in-process (WIP) and lot-specific kits to support manufacturing
• Maintain accurate inventory logs, cycle counts, and expiration date records
• Conduct materials handling operations in strict accordance with cGMP procedures and SOPs
• Complete chain of custody forms, receiving logs, and QC test requests for sampling
• Issue lot numbers to incoming materials per established procedures

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
• High School diploma or equivalency
• Valid driver's license
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic math/computer skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 4 hours without a break)
• Ability to bend and stoop to grasp objects

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of ERP software
• APICS coursework or certification
