Material Handler I - Paint

Responsibilities

• Load and unload all metal parts required for daily fabrication at the paint line
• Complete daily activities to ensure production goals are met
• Assist in identifying parts and descriptions using work order information
• Maintain high quality standards to ensure zero defects
• Promote and maintain a safe work environment by following all safety procedures and using proper equipment
• Communicate job status between shifts to ensure work in progress continues smoothly
• Participate in training regarding manufacturing, quality, and safety practices

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 12 months of relevant experience
• Knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds regularly
• Ability to stand and walk for the majority of the work day
• Ability to sit, stoop, and/or kneel

Preferred Qualifications

• Organizational and time management skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Basic knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team
