Material Handler I

Responsibilities

• On/off-load products from tables, rolling racks, delivery trucks, or wood crates
• Read work orders and follow job standards for safety, quality, and production
• Attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages
• Read and interpret basic mathematical measurements using a tape measure
• Move glass and metal materials to expedite product flow throughout the plant

Requirements

• Prior work experience in a production or manufacturing environment
• Ability to lift up to 75lbs unassisted
• Ability to stand and move on feet for 8-10 hours per day on a concrete floor
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks with deadlines
• Ability to work overtime when required
• Ability to withstand moderate to high noise levels
• Ability to work in regional climate conditions including heat, cold, and humidity
