Material Handler I

Responsibilities

• Unload incoming materials and goods from transport vehicles using handling equipment
• Verify shipment quantities against delivery notes and inspect packaging for damage
• Report any discrepancies or damaged goods immediately
• Move materials to correct warehouse locations and maintain accurate storage records
• Prepare and label goods for shipment
• Load outgoing goods and verify delivery documentation
• Operate and perform basic checks on assigned handling equipment
• Utilize SAP system for inventory and movement tracking

Requirements

• Proven experience operating handling equipment (Forklift/VZV required; Reach truck is a plus)
• Ability to work in a 3-shift operation
• Ability to work at heights
• Strong manual dexterity and organizational skills
• Proficiency with SAP software
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment
• Strong communication skills and customer orientation
